Privacy policy
This policy explains what data HonestQuid ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, and what we do with it. It's short, because we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
- Nothing you don't give us. HonestQuid has no accounts, no logins and no forms. Browsing the site does not require any personal information.
- Email, if you contact us. If you email hello@honestquid.co.uk, we'll have your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any list.
- Basic hosting logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use these to identify or profile visitors.
Cookies
HonestQuid does not set advertising or tracking cookies — which is why there's no cookie banner here. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future to see which pages are useful, we'll update this policy first.
Fonts
Our pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. That means your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which sees your IP address as part of serving the file — the same as any content delivery network. No cookies are involved.
Third-party links
The site links out to banks, apps and offer providers, including via referral and affiliate links (see how we earn). Once you leave HonestQuid, the provider's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate networks may use cookies on the destination site to attribute your signup — that happens on their site under their policy, not ours.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data we hold about you — access, correction, and deletion among them. Given how little we collect, this usually just means: email us and we'll delete the emails you've sent us. Contact hello@honestquid.co.uk for anything privacy-related. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If the site starts collecting anything new, this page gets updated before that happens, with the date above changed.
