About HonestQuid
HonestQuid exists because the internet is full of "free money" content that wastes your time — expired offers, buried requirements, and lists written to earn commission rather than to help. We wanted the opposite: a short, honest, current list of UK offers that are genuinely worth doing, with the requirements spelled out before you click anything.
What we do
We track bank switch bonuses, cashback bonuses, referral credits and get-paid apps across the UK. Before anything is listed, we read the provider's full terms and confirm the offer is live. Every listing shows the amount, what's actually required of you, and the date we last checked it. When an offer dies, it comes off the list — no zombie deals.
Our editorial standards
- Verified before listed. Every offer is checked against the provider's own published terms — not recycled from someone else's list. If we can't confirm it's live, it doesn't go up.
- No credit products, ever. No credit cards, no loans, no buy-now-pay-later. Bonuses and cashback only. This is a permanent rule, not a current policy.
- Requirements up front. The catch (if there is one) goes in the listing, not in the small print.
- Commission never decides the list. Plenty of what we feature — including most bank switch offers — pays us nothing. An offer earns its place by being worth your time. Full details on how we earn.
- Honest about scale. A £200 switch bonus is worth an evening of admin. A survey app paying 40p is pocket change — and we say so, in the listing.
- Corrections, fast. Spot something wrong or expired? Email us and we'll fix it or pull it — usually same day.
Who's behind it
HonestQuid is independently run from the UK. We're not owned by a bank, a comparison giant or a marketing network, and we're not authorised by the FCA — which is exactly why we stick to simple, non-credit offers and plain-English explanations rather than advice.
